Ezry Santiago-McRae

I joined CCIB in 2019 as a PhD student, having graduated from Kutztown University in 2015 with a BS in biology and minors in computer science and biochemistry. In the lab, I compute free energies of binding amongst many other things. I live in Philadelphia with my partner and numerous houseplants.

Connor Pitman

I joined CCIB in 2020 as a PhD student. I graduated with my B.S. in Biology and a minor in Writing from the University of Delaware. My research focus is Intrinsically Disordered Proteins. When I’m not at my workstation, you can find me hiking or reading a good book.

Jesse Sandberg

I joined the CCIB graduate program as an MS student in 2019 and earned an MS with distinction in 2021. I subsequenctly joined the PhD program to continue my work. When not at my workstation, I can be found wrangling my two small children or cooking something impractical.

Jahmal Ennis

I graduated with a Master of Science from the CCIB program in Spring 2022 and started my PhD in Fall 2022. I graduated from Rutgers University-NewBruswick with a B.A. in General Biology. I enjoy simulating gold nanoparticles, spending lots of time with my dog Sukina and painting in my free time.

Lindsey Riggs

I joined CCIB as a PhD student in the fall of 2021. I graduated with a B.S. in Biophysics at New Jersey Institute of Technology. During my free time, I like to take care of my plants, go on long walks, and cook new recipes!

Ryan Lamb

I joined the CCIB graduate program as an MS student in 2023. I graduated with a B.A in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry. When I’m not in the office I'm probably watching a movie.

Asim Dave

I joined the Ph.D. program at CCIB in the Fall of 2024. I have a background in pharmacy (B.S., MBA(pharma tech), NMIMS University), and pharmacology (M.S., LIU Brooklyn). Before starting my Ph.D., I worked in the immunology program at SKI. In the lab, my current focus is on studying population genetics. Outside of research, I enjoy playing sports, hiking, and trying different cuisines.

Regina Salzer

I joined CCIB in 2021 as a Masters student and earned an MS with distinction in 2023. I am continuing my work on controlling plasmonic response in vesicle membranes with gold nanoparticles as a Ph.D. student in the Griepenburg Lab. I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Structural Biology and Biophysics. My small amount of free time is mostly spent taking care of my animals, reading novels, or listening to podcasts.
